What the system does
IGTAP’s official description presents a clear high-level loop: complete platforming challenges for currency, invest in production and movement, unlock better courses or faster routes, and have clones follow optimized paths. This supports measuring a route as observed reward over observed time. It does not provide a complete formula for Power, Watts, clones, bonuses, offline behavior, or rounding.
This page therefore uses an empirical method. It compares what your current save displays without claiming that the resulting rate predicts every game system.
When it becomes relevant
Measure farming when progress slows and you need to choose between route practice, movement access, production, or clone-related options. First choose a stable course you can repeat without frequent failures. If a route is still unreachable, income math is premature; diagnose movement or use the upgrade-tree guide.
Record active runs and clone observations separately. An active completion time and a passive production interval describe different processes and should not be combined unless the game publishes a verified relationship.
Decision checklist
- Define the test: route, start state, movement toggle, timer start, and timer stop.
- Record the reward shown for a clean completion and the elapsed seconds.
- Repeat the route several times. Keep individual results so variation remains visible.
- Calculate observed reward per second:
displayed reward ÷ elapsed seconds. - Change only one factor: a route segment, one upgrade, or one movement state.
- Repeat the same measurement window.
- Use the Route Income Calculator to compare the two observations.
- Choose the change only if the improvement is repeatable and addresses the current bottleneck.
If the experiment concerns visible orbs, keep the route conditions controlled with the Refresh Orbs guide.
Common mistakes
- Mixing Watts, Power, or another displayed unit without recording exactly what was measured.
- Timing one route from movement start and another from a menu or loading screen.
- Combining active and clone rewards in one number.
- Adding an assumed multiplier for clones, bonuses, or offline time.
- Comparing a clean run with one containing a fall or pause.
- Buying several upgrades between the baseline and comparison.
- Optimizing for the largest reward per completion while ignoring a much longer cycle.
The fastest individual run may not represent a reliable farming route. Prefer the route with a consistently stronger observed rate and manageable execution. Keep the raw observations so a later patch or verified formula can be applied without reconstructing the test.
What still needs verification
The internal Power formula, relationships among named currencies, clone timing and scaling, course downtime, temporary bonuses, offline gains, caps, and rounding remain Needs verification. No one of those mechanics is included in the calculator result.
The public formula on this site is intentionally limited to observations the player supplies. It says which route produced more displayed reward per measured second under the entered conditions; it does not forecast progression or identify a universal best route.
Sources and verification status
Officially confirmed: platforming earns currency; upgrades improve production and movement; better movement opens higher-income courses and faster paths; clones follow optimized routes.
Needs verification: the numerical mechanics behind every currency and clone system. The rate comparison is ordinary arithmetic over player observations, not a reverse-engineered IGTAP formula.
